Every Saturday is Small Business Saturday at Legacy West.
We've invited 13 small businesses from across DFW to spend the year with our team to embrace entrepreneurship, reach the next level of business, and develop relationships.
cohort goals
1. Embrace Entrepreneurship
Like an accelerator, the Legacy West Small Business Cohort provides resources, mentorship, education, and unique retail opportunities.
2. Reach the next level of business
Legacy West works with each member individually to create a wish list of resources that will help them ‘level up’. For example, high-quality imagery is important for digital platforms, so we worked with Instrata to host a product photo-shoot for our home goods brands.
3. Develop Relationships
The last Thursday of every month, we host the cohort for a group co-working day. Legacy West invites industry-related speakers to teach and mentor our businesses through the tricky parts of retail - like leasing. The cohort operates in community, helping push each other to succeed.

Applications for the 2025 Legacy West Small Business Cohort will open in October 2024.

Each year our team reviews all applications and selects 10-13 businesses to be a part of the cohort.

Our heart is to invest in our community through local small businesses. We offer this program free of charge.

The cohort operates on a rotating schedule utilizing three dedicated pop-up cabins by Starbucks. This provides our small businesses with the opportunity to interact with their customers face to face.

It is required to staff your booth from 12PM - 6PM a minimum of one Saturday a month throughout the year.
