KĀI Now Open

The legendary Lombardi Family is transporting guests to far east Asia with their newest concept: KĀI, an Asian-inspired restaurant combined with an elegant lounge that allows diners to have a complete evening of drinks, entertainment and a one-of-a-kind culinary experience any day of the week.

KĀI draws inspiration from American mid-century modern design, with inviting wood tones, granite, marble, and pops of color to create a casual yet elegant ambiance. The restaurant will feature a light and airy interior, three bars, and two stunning outdoor patios overlooking the skyline. In addition, guests can continue their evening in the full-service lounge or perhaps host an event or elegant party in the private dining room.

Upon entering, guests will experience live entertainment as chefs cook dishes on KĀI’s Robata Grill. KĀI has the largest robata grill, also known as a Japanese charcoal grill, in Dallas-Fort Worth with the most extensive Robata Menu in Texas.

The new restaurant will serve classic Asian dishes with European and French influences, in addition to a broad range of Pan Asian dishes. Some of the items that guests will find on KĀI’s uniquemenu, include: Tuna Pizza, Bone Marrow Teriyaki, Foie Gras Nigiri, Black Cod Miso, and Chilean Sea Bass.

Chef King Dey will oversee the kitchen and is the mastermind behind the eclectic, modern, and culturally diverse menu that is unlike anything in the area. As a world-renowned, highly educated culinary artist, Chef King created a menu that encapsulates his more than 20 years of experience in restaurants from around the world. He began his illustrious career with training in Bangkok and Toyko where he learned Pan Asian and Japanese cuisines right in the heart of the homeland. The menu will feature the finest, freshest, and most authentic ingredients.

KĀI will serve dinner every day of the week, and brunch will also be offered on Sundays. If you’re looking for sophisticated libations after work, happy hour is available in the lounge only Sunday-Friday from 4-7 pm and features drink specials as well as half-priced menu items. Bottle service is available in the Lounge area, and once the kitchen closes on the restaurant side, guests can enjoy a late-night menu in the Lounge.

This is the third Lombardi Family Concepts restaurant to open in Legacy West – the most of any restaurant group in the development. Toulouse, a French restaurant, is on the 1stlevel right below KĀI, and Taverna, that specializes in Northern Italian fare, can be found a few steps North, located next to Fabletics.

Hours of Operations

Monday through Wednesday: 5 p.m. to midnight

Thursday through Saturday: 5 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Sunday: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (brunch/lunch) and 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. (dinner)
