Tommy Bahama Opening Marks First "Island" In North Texas
Following the successful opening of the Tommy Bahama Store, the neighboring restaurant and bar is now open making Legacy West’s Tommy Bahama “island” complete. This is the only Tommy Bahama Restaurant in North Texas, and the company only opens one restaurant each year.
The new 11,200 square-foot Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar & Store offers a lively shopping and dining experience that encourages pure enjoyment in a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere.
The 250-seat restaurant and bar features a large covered patio, expansive kitchen, and ample indoor dining with options for private parties. Fresh and contemporary in design with warm wood, cool stone, and dark metal accents creates an open inviting atmosphere.
The iconic Tommy Bahama men’s and women’s sportswear, swimwear, accessories, home décor, and restaurant strike an exciting, satisfying note with Texas guests who appreciate the relaxed hospitality and easy, island style.
“Today we’re a 360° lifestyle brand,” says Rob Goldberg, Executive Vice President Restaurants. “Our guest is increasingly diverse in age and attitude. We’re sure Legacy West and Dallas guests will appreciate the cuisine, our attentive service, and the wonderfully free-flowing ambiance and décor of our newest ‘island’.”
The restaurant menu features a selection of dishes unique to this location in addition to signature favorites such as the ahi tuna tacos and of course the grilled baby back pork ribs. The wonderfully extensive selection of hand-crafted cocktails and rum drinks flow as well.
During a visit to the Legacy West restaurant on opening day, Goldberg told us, the company stands for inspiring people to relax. That’s why guests of the store can sip cocktails and sample food as they shop, and guests of the restaurant can see store items on display and window shop from their tables.
“We’re offering an immersive guest experience,” Goldberg adds. “The Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar & Store in Plano, Texas is about a timeless spirit of relaxation and we look forward to welcoming everyone.”
