West Elm Is Now Open at Legacy West
Hundreds of contemporary furniture fans turned out to attend the grand opening of West Elm, Legacy West’s first retail store to officially open its doors. This is West Elm’s second location in North Texas. A ribbon cutting was held in front of the 11,000+ square foot space with West Elm’s new general manager, Aaron Gigliotti, doing the honors. Guests were then invited to enjoy drinks, bites and beats as they perused the stunning new spring collections, which feature gorgeous shades of blue, yellow, green and blush pink.
From sofas and tables to pillows and vases, anything you could possibly want for your home was on display. The most talked about store feature is the LOCAL program highlighting nine Texas-based makers and designers. A carefully curated selection of items from these local designers include kitchen wares and decorative tea towels, modern wooden coaster sets, Texas-shaped wall hangings, abstract prints inspired by Texas flora, handmade jewelry and sign and banner heirlooms. A portion of the proceeds from the grand opening celebration benefited the Hendrick Scholarship Foundation, a local nonprofit that helps Plano ISD graduates overcome adversity by providing financial access to a college education through multi-year scholarships and support services.
